Software Engineer

Duties:

• Design, develop and operate Web Application Solutions, modules, and related configurations with Moody’s applications.
• Drive and participate in feature requirements, architecture, and design specification reviews.
• Collaborate with the Business Engagement and Engineering teams to design and implement product features in a fast-paced environment following agile development methodology.
• Work with the management to understand user requirements and design elegant solutions to problems at hand.
• Participate in planning, estimating and scheduling activities as required.
• Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position.

Requirements:

• Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, Software Analyst, or in a related technical position performing software development and designing technical solutions.
• Must have experience in Relational Database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server, Proficient in SQL Language;
• Designing and implementing scripting solutions using Python and Groovy Scripts;
• Implementing solutions using Atlassian platform products including Jira and Confluence;
• Managing automation scripts including script runner;
• Workflow automations using tools including Jira; and Restful API methods for querying and updating Cloud application datasets including Atlassian.
