Samsara is looking for an Renewal Sales Operations Analyst to play a critical role in delivering systems, processes and policies for our Renewal Sales organization. This role will partner with Samsara’s go-to-market teams to design, build and execute critical business capabilities and have an outsized impact on the future of our business as we grow beyond $2BN in revenue. The ideal candidate has experience delivering transformative initiatives that bring together people, process and technology into elegant solutions that solve business problems related to all aspects of the renewal sales experience.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You have innate curiosity in how businesses work: One day you’ll meet with someone in waste management and the next you may be learning about the inner workings of a food distribution center. Our top sales team members seek to learn the ins and outs of the businesses they support in order to make a larger impact.
  • You build genuine relationships with your customers: The industries we serve have relied on pen-and-paper solutions for years and haven’t been met with the type of technology we offer. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.
  • You want to be with the best: Samsara’s high-performance culture means you’ll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before.
  • You are a team player: At Samsara, sales is a team sport. We help each other out by sharing best practices and focus on winning as a team.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with Renewal Sales Leadership to optimize our sales motion, ensuring scalable, efficient processes that drive retention and expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve outcomes, including process redesign, tooling enhancements, and analytics-driven improvements.
  • Intake, assess, and prioritize requests and process gaps based on business impact and effort, developing a roadmap aligned to retention and recurring revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Systems and RevOps teams to enhance Renewals automation, deliver scalable tooling, define business requirements, conduct UAT, and manage end-user communications.
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics that uncover inefficiencies or risks within the Renewals workflow; provide actionable insights and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Govern Renewals-related Sales Policies, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistent application globally; manage documentation and run routine audits to ensure adherence.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale our global Renewals engine.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations/Revenue Operations and Renewals Strategy roles, preferably within a fast-paced, SaaS or recurring revenue environment.
  • Proven ability to drive improvements in Renewals workflows through cross-functional project management.
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com and related sales tech tools; experience supporting Renewals or Customer Success teams is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and business judgment with a track record of leading complex projects from strategy through execution.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to use data to influence Renewals strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience translating policy/process into field-facing resources and guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university; focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred. MBA optional.
