The Business Development Representative (BDR) role serves as the entry-level role into a client-facing sales career at Remote and is designed to be your first look into how we sell our platform. Our BDR team supports our sales teams by developing qualified leads for our Account Executives. Successful BDRs critically think and learn through coaching from their mentors as well as build upon, and improve their skills throughout their tenure in this role.

Key responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting up meetings for the sales team, and supporting our sales efforts
- Utilize your outbound sales skills by leveraging a number of communications methods including cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messages and more
- Clearly communicating Remote's value propositions to prospects and learning about their needs to see if there’s a good fit
- Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
- Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
- Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve client issues proactively, ensuring a positive client experience
