In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing Managers to amplify brand awareness, educate our audiences, and position Shields as the trusted leader in health system-owned specialty pharmacy. You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing integrated marketing campaigns, crafting compelling content, and managing impactful events that drive business growth and elevate our voice in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Email Marketing
- Ignite our brand presence across Instagram and LinkedIn by crafting compelling organic and paid content. Collaborate with marketing managers to write scroll-stopping copy, coordinate eye-catching visuals, and track performance to elevate our campaigns continuously.
- Drive engagement and conversions through strategic email marketing campaigns for account-based initiatives, webinars, and live events. Own the full lifecycle—from promotional sends to timely reminders and impactful follow-ups.
- Turn data into action by analyzing email metrics like open and click-through rates to uncover insights and optimize future outreach.
Marketing Collateral Curation:
- Bring our brand stories to lifeby contributing to the creation of high-impact content, blog posts, case studies, white papers, and more. Your words will help shape how our audience sees us.
- Champion brand consistencyby ensuring every piece of collateral reflects our voice, values, and visual identity across all platforms.
Website Maintenance Support:
- Keep our digital front door freshby partnering with the marketing manager to update website content, enhance SEO, and ensure current and compelling messaging.
- Be the guardian of our online presence, helping to maintain a seamless user experience and a site that reflects our evolving brand.
Webinar and Event Support (Preferred):
- Partner with our Marketing Manager to coordinate logistics, scheduling, and hosting to ensure a seamless experience for attendees and speakers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align on webinar content, secure speakers, and develop a promotional strategy that drives attendance and engagement.
- Support high-impact trade shows by managing the production and delivery of branded collateral and scientific posters that showcase our expertise.
- Ensure internal alignment by prepping teams with clear messaging, event goals, and logistical details to maximize impact and consistency.
- Maintain event calendars, registration pages, and promotional assets to ensure everything is accounted for and running smoothly.

What You Bring
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant marketing experience; healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
Skillset & Expertise:
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for crafting clear, compelling messaging across channels.
- Project juggling pro with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a sharp eye for prioritization and adaptability in ever-evolving workflows.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools to drive targeted marketing efforts.
- Proven track record in social media marketing, with a deep understanding of audience engagement and platform best practices.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.
- Experience with WordPress and SEO management is a strong plus—bonus points for keeping websites fresh and discoverable.
- Design-savvy with familiarity in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other creative platforms to support visually engaging content.
