Junior DevOps Engineer (Remote-first SaaS)

HiCareer is supporting a remote-first SaaS company (70+ employees across Europe) in hiring a junior DevOps engineer.

The company provides workflow automation tools used by thousands of teams, and reliability is core to its success. You’ll work with senior engineers to improve deployment pipelines, automate infrastructure, and strengthen observability across systems.

What you’ll do

• Support CI/CD pipelines and monitor build and deployment processes
• Automate routine tasks using Python, Bash, or Terraform
• Maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and containerisation with Docker
• Help manage logs, monitoring, and alerting through Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Assist in incident response and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to improve performance and reliability

Who we’re looking for

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering
• Familiar with AWS (or GCP), Docker, and CI/CD concepts
• Some scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Curious and proactive — you like finding ways to automate and simplify
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating via GitHub, Slack, and Notion
• Fluent in English
