We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Quality Assurance Graduate to join our dynamic software development team at our fast-growing Software as a Service (SAAS) company. As a Graduate QA Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our SaaS platform works flawlessly for our growing customer base. You'll learn the full software testing lifecycle, from writing test cases to identifying critical bugs, while working in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail directly protects our users' experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn to develop and maintain automated tests and frameworks, contributing to comprehensive test coverage of our web apps and APIs. 
  • Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects, learning to ensure product quality. 
  • Support manual testing activities as part of your learning journey. 
  • Collaborate within the product and development team to understand feature requirements and testing approaches. 
  • Learn to identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. 
  • Work alongside the development team and AI platform team to understand troubleshooting and issue resolution. 
  • Stay curious and eager to learn about industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance. 
  • Contribute fresh perspectives to process improvements and testing practices whilst learning from the wider Quality community. 
  • Develop collaborative skills by working within cross-functional teams to support high-quality software delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with exposure to software testing concepts. 
  • Foundational knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Go) through university projects or personal learning. 
  • Some exposure to testing tools and frameworks (such as Cypress, Playwright, or Postman) through coursework, internships, or personal projects. 
  • Genuine enthusiasm for building a career in test automation and quality assurance. 
  • Understanding of agile methodologies from academic study or internship experience. 
  • Awareness of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts. 

Desirable 

  • Any exposure to performance testing tools (K6, JMeter, or Gatling) through university projects or self-learning. 
  • Interest in or coursework related to cloud computing and distributed systems. 
  • Curiosity about testing AI-driven software and understanding probabilistic outcomes. 
  • Any experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines from university or personal projects
