To support Figma’s growth, we’re building a best-in-class Benefits team with a mission of ensuring the wellbeing of Figmates around the world through market-leading, compliant, and innovative programs. This role will focus on making benefits more personalized, equitable, and impactful for employees. Reporting to the Director of Global Benefits, the Benefits Partner will lead the administration of US Leave of Absence programs, oversee global Time Off and Leave policies, and build analytics dashboards that shape strategy across all benefits programs. This role will also support US Benefits Compliance and partner on special global projects as we work to deliver exceptional employee experiences, and surface insights that help us grow and evolve our programs. Our ideal candidate has deep knowledge of US leave and benefits administration, strong data and reporting skills, and a passion for supporting employees through moments that matter.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Serve as the go-to partner for Tier 2 benefits questions, with a strong focus on US Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
- Oversee administration of LOA requests with our external leave management vendor; ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, applicable state leave laws
- Maintain and administer Time Off, PTO and Leave of absence policies globally, providing support/touchpoints for other global Leave & Time Off programs
- Build, maintain, and enhance benefits analytics dashboards — including self-funded health plan dashboards — to track utilization, spend, trends, and identify key insights
- Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and external partners, including vendor performance, renewals, audits, and RFPs
- Ensure ongoing compliance with US benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, and other federal/state requirements), maintaining accurate documentation and partnering with vendors to reduce compliance risk
- Maintain benefits documentation, employee-facing resources, FAQs
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 3–5 years of experience in US benefits administration, with strong experience in Leave of Absence and Time-off programs; exposure to global benefits is a plus
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a scaling environment (~2,500+ employees)
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and easy-to-understand reporting
- Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder management skills with experience working cross functionally with People Relations, FP&A, Legal, HRBPs and Payroll teams
