We’re looking for a Community Outreach Intern passionate about social impact, financial literacy, and community engagement. In this role, you’ll help us form meaningful relationships with nonprofits, local businesses that benefit homebuyers, and community organizations that share our mission to make homeownership more accessible.

This is an opportunity to gain hands on experience in outreach strategy, partnership development, and social impact branding while contributing to a mission-driven company changing how people learn to buy homes.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify local and national organizations aligned with Nest Navigate’s mission (nonprofits, city programs, credit unions, housing agencies, etc.)
  • Support partnership outreach via email, LinkedIn, and community events
  • Create and refine outreach materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, and partnership proposals)
  • Collaborate with our marketing and rewards teams to connect organizations with Nest Navigate’s education platform
  • Track and organize partnership efforts, outreach activity, and engagement metrics
  • Assist in social media and PR campaigns that highlight our community impact

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Policy, Urban Development, or Social Impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — especially for professional outreach
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Notion, or Canva
  • Passion for community engagement, social entrepreneurship, or financial education
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment
  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in outreach, partnerships, or community development is a plus
