Backend Software Engineer l

As a Backend Software Engineer l with 1800 Contacts, you will collaborate with a team of developers to build and manage both enterprise-level RESTful microservices and Databricks jobs that support multiple storefronts and lines of business. You will also work closely with our marketing group building curated data feeds that drive core marketing campaigns and real-time decisions for customers. You'll share ownership of over thirty business-critical software systems, with a commitment to quality, ownership, and active involvement in solving key Business initiatives with long term solutions. You’ll be actively influencing the team’s area of focus, working closely with the Product Manager and the team in this highly collaborative setting. 

The experience we're looking for: 

• 1-3 years of professional experience developing software.
• Experience with at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python) and a willingness to learn and operate primarily in C#.
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented programming and Dependency Injection.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Experience with SQL and database structures.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development.

On a regular basis you will: 

• Develop and maintain platform services and internal applications using C#, SQL and Python.
• Create and maintain code that integrates with 3rd party vendors
• Implement comprehensive automated tests to ensure quality
