The Automated Test Engineer I role is focused on designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability. This role will work closely with development teams to identify bugs, ensure proper test coverage, and contribute to improving the overall software development lifecycle. The Automated Test Engineer I will be responsible for basic test case design, maintaining automation scripts, and reporting defects while gaining a comprehensive understanding of software functionalities. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  •  Develop and execute automated test scripts for various features and functionalities. 
  •  Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track software defects. 
  •  Design and maintain test cases based on functional specifications. 
  •  Contribute to the improvement of test automation frameworks. 
  •  Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after each release. 
  •  Analyze test results, identify issues, and communicate findings to the team. 
  •  Assist in the creation of reports to track test results, issues, and software quality. 
  •  Work closely with developers to ensure high-quality deliverables. 
  •  Ensure compliance with industry standards best practices for test automation. 

Skills/Abilities/Experience:  

  •  1+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. 
  •  Basic knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG. 
  •  Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript. 
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Ability to understand and execute test plans and cases. 
  •  Good understanding of Agile software development practices. 
  •  Experience with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, etc.) is a plus. 
  •  Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  •  Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 
  •  Strong interest in software quality assurance and automated testing. 
  •  Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
