The Associate Test Engineer (Automation) supports the application platforms in the Engineering department. The work managed is critical to overall program success, with aggressive timelines that are critical to the success of the company with direct impacts on our customers. What You’ll Be Doing

• Strong inclination towards product quality
• Develop and maintain test scripts from provided functional and technical designs, functional test scripts, or ad hoc for bug fix testing.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
• Investigate defects for the root cause.
• Executes test cases, log defects and maintain other test documentation.
• Track defect to closure

What You Need

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
• years of experience
• Data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming
• Strong communication and partnership skills required.

Technologies:

• Knowledge of one or more programming languages and related latest frameworks eg Java/J2EE with spring boot .
• Knowledge of one or more Databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, etc.
• Knowledge of one or more web/application servers like Tomcat
• Unit testing frameworks like Junit etc
• Knowledge of version tools like Git/SVN
• Maven or Gradle build tools.
