Associate Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Associate Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Kansas City, MO(Remote). Responsibilities include developing and enhancing enterprise applications using .NET, Java, and SQL, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement client-driven solutions.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Associate Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and Enhance Applications: Design, code, and maintain enterprise-level applications using .NET, Java, and SQL technologies.
• Participate in Agile Development: Engage in Agile Scrum processes including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with fellow developers, analysts, and business units to implement client-driven solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure Code Quality: Proactively identify and address potential performance or architectural issues and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
• Mentor and Support: Act as a resource for junior developers and assist in knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Analyze and resolve software defects and production issues with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of software development experience, including at least 1 year with C#.
• Proficiency in .NET technologies and familiarity with MVC, WCF, WPF, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented Agile environment.
