Technical Support Engineer

VoltHosting is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in a voluntary capacity with a strong focus on upskilling. This role is ideal for individuals looking to expand their technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in the hosting and IT industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide support via live chat, tickets, and optionally phone calls
• Assist customers with Windows, Linux, cPanel, and Plesk-related issues
• Support game server hosting and virtualization platforms
• Troubleshoot general IT issues and escalate when necessary
• Learn and develop skills in systems administration, development, and more

What We’re Looking For:

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with cPanel and Plesk
• Understanding of virtualization (e.g., KVM, VMware, Proxmox)
• Preferably experience with game servers
• General IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Must be 18+, reside in the UK, have the right to work in the UK, and be willing to sign an NDA
• Someone willing to contribute approximately 10 hours a week (flexible)
