As a Structural Engineer – Entry Level, you’ll gain hands-on experience in structural analysis, design, and drafting within the fast-growing solar energy sector. What You’ll Do
- Perform structural calculations with guidance to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
- Assist in pile plan production, analyzing foundation loads and soil interactions.
- Support the development of structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and industry-standard tools.
- Pick up and implement redline markups accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets.
- Participate in QA/QC processes, reviewing work prior to submission and updating documents per reviewer feedback.
- Collaborate across civil, electrical, and project management teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0-2 years of civil/structural engineering experience
- Understanding of steel design per AISC and structural design principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn PV (photovoltaic) pile design tools and solar-specific design methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
