Key Responsibilities:
- Understand prospects' unique goals and challenges to help them grow with Shopify products.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and target potential customers.
- Use your network and industry knowledge to generate high-quality leads.
- Articulate and demonstrate Shopify’s value proposition, crafting detailed mutual plans with prospects.
- Develop sales strategies to penetrate new markets and achieve sales targets.
- Actively source, build, and manage your sales pipeline, with accurate business forecasting.
- Engage with C-level executives and collaborate on internal projects to improve business processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a closing sales role, with a strong track record of acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive experience in New Business Sales and closing B2B SaaS sales roles.
- Knowledge of industries such as Ecommerce, Fintech, Retail, or Hospitality is advantageous.
- Experience selling POS systems and familiarity with MEDDICC, BANT, and Challenger sales methodologies are beneficial.
- Passion for hunting and acquiring new business, with the ability to identify and close high-value opportunities.
- Extensive experience negotiating complex deals and achieving win-win outcomes.
- Ability to create and utilize a sales playbook to educate higher-ups and deliver results through complex evaluations.
- Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable discussing various product offerings.
- Experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating a territory, and building a robust pipeline.
- Comfort with technical product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expert.
- Ability to create multi-product pipeline generation strategies.
- Proactive and accurate forecasting to set short and long-term priorities with clear action plans.
- Extensive experience with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn).
