As the Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll provide scheduling, logistical and administrative support to our team of Talent Acquisition experts, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and an amazing experience for all.

What You Will Do

  • Be a scheduling pro who partners with our Talent Acquisition team to prepare candidates and managers for interviews
  • Act as a candidate champion communicating interview details including schedule, interviewers and other logistics to ensure a stellar candidate experience
  • Get creative and help us showcase Symetra’s employer brand by preparing and coordinating advertising materials, social media, job postings and event logistics
  • Take on additional projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Strong aptitude to learn.
  • Competent with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, specifically using the calendaring function integrated with MS Teams and Excel.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding service orientation, a sense of urgency and a high-level of personal integrity.
  • Adept at problem solving, relationship building and maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple people.
  • Experience with ADP Recruiting Management and/or Eightfold preferred.
  • 1+ years of coordination experience supporting Recruiting or Human Resources teams required.
  • 6+ months experience in an administrative support role required.
  • General understanding of talent acquisition, administrative and human resources concepts.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
