We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Motion Designer to join our fast-growing Creative Department at Ruby Labs. This full-time role sits within a global team of more than 20 motion designers and plays a critical part in scaling high-performing ad creatives across 35+ languages and multiple formats.

Your primary responsibility will be the localization and resizing of our top-performing ad creatives, ensuring that every creative maintains high visual quality, platform readiness, and performance standards across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Localization & Adaptation

  • Localize high-performing ad creatives across 35+ languages, ensuring visual accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Integrate translated copy into video and banner creatives with attention to layout, readability, and aesthetic balance.
  • Adjust designs to account for text expansion, contraction, and language-specific nuances.

Resizes & Format Adjustments

  • Produce platform-specific resizes for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display, and other channels.
  • Ensure every resized asset maintains visual clarity, hierarchy, and performance integrity across formats and aspect ratios.
  • Optimize export settings and file formats for platform guidelines and technical requirements.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain exceptionally high quality standards across all deliverables, ensuring error-free text, accurate alignment, and polished animations.
  • Check every localized creative for layout issues, truncation, typos, legibility, and pacing consistency.
  • Test and validate all deliverables before submitting for review.

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Lead Designer and other motion designers to ensure smooth creative pipeline operations.
  • Execute tasks within defined deadlines while managing multiple localization and resize assignments simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with Creative Producers to ensure all assets match the intended messaging and creative vision.

Growth & Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with global advertising trends, particularly in formats, aspect ratios, and creative best practices.
  • Learn and adopt AI-powered workflows to enhance production speed and quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience producing video or graphic assets using Adobe tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple creative tasks and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of layout, composition, visual hierarchy, and typography.
  • Basic understanding of animation timing, spacing, and motion fundamentals.
  • Ability to follow creative templates and adapt existing designs consistently across formats.
  • Highly motivated, hungry to grow, and excited to work in a fast-paced performance marketing environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, especially when working with text and layout-sensitive tasks.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI design or image-generation tools is a plus.
