As a Data Entry Operator working remotely for Credentia, you will handle large volumes of data related to candidate registrations, exam results, demographic information, and credentialing documentation. This remote role allows you to work from your home remote workspace and contribute to data operations in a secure, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into Credentia’s systems from scanned documents, registration forms, exam results, and other inputs while working remotely.
- Verify and cross-check data entries against source documents, identify discrepancies, and undertake corrective follow-up in the remote work setting.
- Scan/upload and organize candidate documents electronically, maintaining digital records within the remote environment and ensuring secure handling of sensitive information.
- Maintain confidentiality of personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI), adhering to HIPAA and company policies in your remote workspace.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Credentialing, Scheduling, Support) using remote communication tools (email, chat, video) to resolve data issues or provide status updates.
- Meet production and accuracy targets for remote data entry, e.g., entries per hour, error rates, and turnaround times, while maintaining high quality.
- Ensure your remote workspace meets company requirements (secure, quiet, reliable internet) and abide by remote work protocols and availability expectations.
- Participate in remote team meetings, trainings or virtual check-ins as required by the remote operations structure.
Qualifications & Skills
Education/Experience
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 1+ year of data entry or administrative support experience; healthcare credentialing or similar industry experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment is beneficial.
