As a Data Entry Administrator at Viasat, your prime responsibility will be working to input import and export authorizations in our Global Trade Management software system. You must be able to complete records accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail will be a benefit as you check and verify records, enter data, and run reports.

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry into internal systems or tracking software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new software systems with guided instruction.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a high degree of organizational accuracy.
  • Utilize effective time management skills to manage workloads and prioritize competing tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills for clear and professional interaction.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals and work well as a collaborative team member.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively with minimal day-to-day guidance.
  • Must be open to challenges, new ideas, and organizational change.
  • Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and taking initiative to seek clarity when needed.

What will help you on the job

  • 1-2 years of experience performing high-volume, accurate data entry is highly desired. 
  • Proven working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Previous experience working directly within a Global Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain department is a significant plus.
