We are seeking a Clinical Trial Navigator for a remote, site-facing recruitment support role. This position combines the responsibilities of a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). The ideal candidate will assist sites with medical inquiries, screen patients, and evaluate drug eligibility. The role involves building relationships with site personnel through WebEx/Teams video calls and supporting the recruitment process for a Type II Diabetes study.
Responsibilities
- Assist sites with medical inquiries and patient screening.
- Evaluate potential drug eligibility for volunteers.
- Conduct video calls to build partnerships with site personnel.
- Utilize CTMS and Interactive Response Technology (IRT) to support clinical trial logistics.
- Educate patients about the clinical research study and its benefits.
- Communicate with potential participants via phone or email using a provided script.
- Refer candidates to sites and maintain contact throughout the process.
- Support site engagement and administrative tasks.
- Proactively offer assistance to sites and explore community engagement opportunities.
Essential Skills
- Experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
- Oncology and Type II Diabetes knowledge.
- Good Safety Practice (GSP) understanding.
- Experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT).
- Registered Nurse with a background in the US healthcare system.
- Proactive and personable communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CTMS experience is a plus.
- Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) background is a plus.
- No specific certifications required as there is no direct patient interaction.
