We are seeking a curious, proactive problem solver to join our team as an Associate Product Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented early career professional to work with cutting-edge low-code tools to deliver beautiful and modern experiences for our customers.
You’ll play a key role in enabling Open’s expansion into new markets, launching new insurance products and enabling new features that unlock sales opportunities in a scalable way. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers and data scientists, and be closely mentored by another Product Manager.
In this role, you will:
- Work with cutting-edge, low-code tools to build delightful customer experiences
- Develop a detailed understanding of insurance policy lifecycles – from initial quote through to claims – and how our platform makes this seamless for partners and end customers
- Support in identifying user pain points and completing technical analysis to address these, working with senior team members to balance feasibility and desirability
- Understand and implement insurance rules within our platform ecosystem
- Obsess about customer outcomes and use analytics to measure impact and inform direction
- Assist in managing stakeholders across Open who rely on our sales platforms for their success
- Support prioritisation activities for the squad
- Contribute to maintaining overall quality of Open’s proprietary platforms and data products to ensure they deliver to the expectations of our customers, partners and regulators
You will report to one of Open’s Product Managers.
What you’ll bring

- 1-2 years of professional experience having recently graduated
- Insurance or fintech experience is a plus but not essential
- Experience in coding is a plus but not essential
