The Athletic is seeking an experienced account manager to assist with our internal and external sales efforts. Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships you will be a key member of these efforts. In this role you will be an internal and external collaborator across the pre and post sale process while assisting The Athletic’s sales teams drive revenue. 

This is a 100% remote for candidates in and around the New York City Metro area.

Responsibilities

    • Learn our business and assist sellers with the end-to-end ad sales process.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively. 
    • Help manage client deliverables for ad campaigns. 
    • Assist with approving internal approvals for client ad campaigns. 
    • Liaison with relevant stakeholders to establish timely process’.
    • Help the team meet ambitious team level goals. 
    • Represent The Athletic brand.

Requirements

    • 1-3 years of account management or related experience. 
    • Self-starter with great time management skills. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Eager to learn with the ability to improve on existing processes. 
    • Strong attention to detail. 
    • You love the sales process.
